Rush hour misery as Tube lines hit with delays and flights cancelled at Heathrow

London transport network has been hit by fresh disruption after delays on the Tube and flights were axed at Heathrow and Gatwick.

It’s been another sticky start to the morning commute after TfL warned of severe delays across the London Underground, and several flights were cancelled at Heathrow and Gatwick Airports.

Passengers were hit by fresh disruption on Circle, Elizabeth, Hammersmith & City and the Metropolitan lines at rush hour today after a faulty train and a signal failure.

A section of the Metropolitan has been suspended, with no service between Chalfont & Latimer and Chesham stations until after lunchtime.
