Sri Lanka recorded their 105th defeat in T20Is, the most by any team, after losing to India in the final match of the series. The game ended in a super over, where Sri Lanka managed only 2/2. Suryakumar Yadav secured the win for India. Washington Sundar was declared Player of the Match, and Suryakumar Yadav was Player of the Series.
