'Night and day': Laser-focused Harris rallies a 'complete contrast' to 'rambling' Trump
Donald Trump's signature long, tangent-filled rallies come in contrast to Vice President Kamala Harris' shorter, more focused speeches, the internet mused Tuesday night.
MAGA-supporters have become accustomed to Trump's roughly 90-minute rallies, but social media critics pointed out that Harris' 20-minute speech on Tuesday night draws a stark contrast — and may resonate better with voters.
"Harris opting for shorter focused rallies where she hammers home a specific message is a complete contrast to Trump's rambling hour+ rallies," remarked Drew Savicki on the social media app X. "Trump gets off the prompter and spends 90 minutes talking about hannibal lecter, washing machines, windmills, etc."

"Night and day," replied @HacknerTyler.
"That’s why we always see footage of people milling out the doors halfway through," observed @dnna1993.
Also news networks can cut away for like 30 minutes. They can’t cut away for 90 minutes of Trump rambling," noted @Thomas_Eames18.
"Republicans have absolutely no idea what to do now that there’s a competent Dem messenger who can just walk on stage and say 'Trump is a felon who blocked the bipartisan border deal. And PS - he got rid of abortion' and just drop mic and walk away," remarked @conorjrogers.
@TColorComputer3 replied that she shorter and laser-focused speech goes down "like a cold drink of water in hell."
"I didn’t know I was so thirsty," he said.
