'Personality of a wet napkin': Vance dragged after saying he's 'sad' about turning 40
Donald Trump’s running mate J.D. Vance, who is nearly half of Trump’s age, is eyeing down a big birthday this week and doesn’t seem too happy about it.
The Republican vice presidential nominee turns 40 on Friday (Trump is 78) and during a campaign event in Nevada Tuesday, shared his lack of enthusiasm with the crowd with a delivery utterly devoid of charisma.
“I'm 40 years old, almost. I'm sad about that, by the way,” Vance said. “I turn 40 I think on Friday.”
It was unclear whether the crowd cheered or jeered the comment, but Vance responded with a strained earnest, “Thank you all.”

It’s another awkward moment in a fledgling campaign mired by “weird” comments – which include bashing “single cat ladies” and claiming Democrats think drinking Diet Mountain Dew is racist – that Democrats have been quick to call out.
On social media, users were to pile on this latest strange remark to Vance’s ever-growing list of oddities.
