Never struggle with your shopping again as top car brand’s latest model boasts incredible hidden feature in the boot
A CAR expert showed off a unique feature in a new Skoda car.
Matt Watson showed his 728,000 TikTok followers a funky feature in the latest Skoda Superb – a “special shopping hammock”.
The social media influencer, who regularly reviews cars, gave viewers an insight into the large family car, showing off some of its best features.
Matt said: “First up, we’ve got hands-free tailgate opening, so I can wave my foot underneath here [the bumper] and it opens the boot.
“But in here, look, there’s a special shopping hammock.
“You can put items in here, like that, and it will keep them secure while you’re driving along.
“That’s not all, though, because in here we have a special velcro divider.
“You can attach that to the floor of the boot, put a bottle in it, and it’ll hold it securely in place.”
In the minute-long clip he emphasises that the new Skoda Superb has a hammock-like parcel shelf.
If you push it back, you’re left with a discreet but deep groove.
That makes it perfect for loading your bags of shopping, even those filled with unsteady items like liquids in with little risk of spillage.
The car also has an L-shaped compartment which drivers can attach to the boot’s carpet and safely secure smaller items that need to be stowed upright.
And that’s not it – the Skoda also has a built-in section that holds a sneaky umbrella, perfect for rainy days.
Car enthusiast Matt continued: “Another great Skoda feature is the ice scraper in the fuel filler cap, brilliant.
“There’s also an umbrella in the door. Look at this, that’s perfect.
“But my favourite thing is under here, they give you a little magic eraser to remove the horrible, greasy fingerprints from the infotainment screen.”
