Locally owned grocery store to open in former north Minneapolis Aldi building

Owner Daniel Hernandez, who operates Colonial Market in south Minneapolis, is eyeing a December opening for a new grocery store with a butcher counter, fast-food eatery and ice cream shop. The site, a former Aldi, is on Penn Av. near Lowry.
