Betway takes title sponsorship of South Africa’s Premier Soccer League in £38m deal
July 30 – Online bookmaker Betway, who last week agreed a sponsorship with Manchester City, has also unveiled its title sponsorship of South Africa’s Premier Soccer League (PSL).
The league will be known as the Betway Premiership from the start of the new season that kicks off August 3.
The three-year deal has been described by Betway CEO Laurence Michel as the biggest sponsorship in South African sport the deal reports valuing the deal at BOUT R900m (£38.3 million).
