FORECAST DISCUSSION:

Most of our rain chanced today are over, but a few more pop up showers and rumbles will still be possible. At times clouds will break and become partly cloudy. With temperatures reaching the upper 80s, expect a heat index to make it feel like the mid-upper 90s.

Tonight expect partly cloudy skies and a temporary break from the rain chances. Lows will only fall to 70 degrees in the city. We can anticipate a very muggy night.

Tomorrow portions will central Ohio can see better chances for thunderstorms with a marginal risk for severe weather. The best chance for storm arrives in the mid-late afternoon and last into the night. High temps will also be even warmer around 90 degrees.

Thursday bumps up that storm threat to a slight risk for parts of central Ohio. The primary threats will be for strong wind gusts. Heat and humidity also sticks around with highs in the low 90s and a heat index in the upper 90s.

We'll keep the on and off storm chances through the rest of the week. By the end of Saturday are overall upper level pattern will chance and calmer conditions will settle in.

There will still be a chance for rain by the time the friendly kicks off at Ohio Stadium between Chelsea FC and Manchester City. Plenty of sunshine returns by Sunday.
