Russian Defense Ministry falsifies encounter with US B-52s over Barents Sea

Russia’s Defense Ministry has falsely claimed that its air force fighter jets prevented two American strategic bombers from entering Russian airspace in the Arctic. The two B-52 Stratofortress long-range bombers were actually en route to an airbase near the Black Sea coast in Romania.
