Serbian holidaying in Ayia Napa missing

A 27-year-old Serbian – Alexandar Gligorijevic – has been reported missing in Ayia Napa.

The police are calling for anyone who could help locate him to come forward.

Gligorijevic has been missing since July 27.

According to a post on social media, Gligorijevic arrived in Cyprus on July 18.

His mother declared him missing, after not hearing from him since July 24 when he said he had caught a virus and was feeling unwell.

His belongings are still at the hostel he was booked into.

The hostel’s reception said he may have been seen going out late on July 26.

Gligorijevic is not responding to calls or messages.
