Diapers Are a Drag for Procter & Gamble Earnings; Stock Falls

The consumer giant said it has introduced a revamped version of its mid-priced Luvs diapers, after market-share losses dragged down sales for its baby, feminine and family care business. Organic sales of P&G’s baby-care products declined by a mid-single digit percentage in the June quarter from a year earlier.
