Iranian officials have announced that the inauguration ceremony for Massoud Pezeshkian, the ninth President of the Islamic Republic of Iran, will take place with the attendance of domestic officials and representatives from approximately 80 foreign countries.

On Monday, July 29, IRNA reported that dozens of political delegations from various countries had already arrived in Tehran for the presidential inauguration.

Aladdin Boroujerdi, a member of the Iranian Parliament’s National Security Commission, stated that the ceremony will include 11 Speakers of Parliament, 4 Deputy Presidents, 6 Prime Ministers, 2 Presidents, and numerous ministers.

He emphasized that “this inauguration is unique due to the death of Ayatollah Raisi. During his presidency, he visited many neighboring and friendly countries, which led these nations to declare public mourning at the time of his passing.”

The inauguration of Massoud Pezeshkian as the ninth President of the Islamic Republic of Iran is scheduled to take place today, Tuesday, July 30th, in the Iranian Parliament.

Yesterday, Abdul Kabir, the Deputy Political Head of the Taliban, arrived in Tehran at the official invitation of the Islamic Republic to participate in the inauguration ceremony of Massoud Pezeshkian.

Reports indicate that over 600 journalists, photographers, and cameramen from both domestic and international media will be covering the event in Tehran.

The inauguration of Massoud Pezeshkian marks a significant event in Iran’s political landscape, with high-profile international and domestic attendance reflecting the importance of this transition.

The extensive media coverage underscores the global interest in Iran’s political developments, highlighting the country’s continuing role on the international stage.
