Counterfeit goods and laughing gas bust in Famagusta

Police seized a large number of counterfeit goods on Monday in Famagusta.

In a coordinated operation by police and customs officers, three premises were searched and 357 items of clothing products and accessories, which appear to be imitations, were found. Additionally, 35 packs of illegal cigarettes and 390 vials of laughing gas (nitrous oxide) were also confiscated.

Officials from the Customs Department which undertook further investigation, received the suspected counterfeit products.

The vials of nitrous oxide were handed over to the Ayia Napa police station, which also undertook further investigation of the case.
