Team India will face Sri Lanka in the third and final T20I match of the three-match series at the Pallekele International Stadium in Kandy on Tuesday (July 30). Suryakumar Yadav-led Indian side have already clinched the series after winning the first two T20Is comprehensively over the weekend.

The visiting side will now look to cap off a brilliant series by completing a rare whitewash against the Lankans. Team India is facing some injury issues with Shubman Gill missing out on the second game due to a stiff neck.

Sanju Samson, who replaced Shubman Gill, was dismissed for a golden duck. The Rajasthan Royals captain will look to make up for the poor outing if he gets another opportunity on Tuesday.

Indian leg-spinner and ‘Player of the match’ in the second T20I Ravi Bishnoi highlighted Sri Lanka’s struggles to tackle Indian spinners in this series.

“They play spin really well but I do not know what (has) happened, they are collapsing in the middle overs,” Bishnoi said after the second T20I. “They are known as a good spin-batting team but I think something has gone wrong.”
