Liam Mullan Extends Deal and Secures Loan Move

Derry City FC can confirm that midfielder Liam Mullan has signed an extended contract at the Brandywell and is going on loan to Portadown until the end of the year.

The club’s Technical Director, Mark McChrystal explained that the move was part of the 20-year old’s continued development, and he was looking forward to monitoring the player’s progress at Shamrock Park.

“Liam played in the NIFL Championship with Institute last season and will now get his chance to play regularly in the top flight with Portadown.

“It’s a great opportunity for him to develop his game in another very competitive league and we look forward to monitoring his progress in the coming months.”
