Delhi coaching centre deaths: Encroachments over stormwater drains to be demolished, says MCD commissioner

Following the deaths of three IAS aspirants due to basement flooding at a coaching centre, the MCD is taking action on three fronts: demolishing encroachments over stormwater drains, targeting illegal basements, and disciplining maintenance engineers. The MCD has sealed three basements and terminated or suspended involved engineers. Seven arrests have been made.
