CM accuses Nirmala Sitharaman of 'lying', says BJP trying taint Karnataka as 'corrupt state'

Karnataka CM Siddaramaiah accused Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman of misleading about budget allocations to Karnataka. He claimed unmet promises on several projects and criticized the BJP for tarnishing Congress-ruled Karnataka's image. Siddaramaiah and Deputy CM D K Shivakumar planned to travel to Delhi for a meeting with the Congress high command.
