Hayward: Girl killed, another injured in Sunday shooting

HAYWARD — A girl died and another person was injured in a shooting Sunday morning, according to Hayward police.

Gunfire was reported around 11:15 a.m. in the 900 block of West Tennyson Road, Officer Cassondra Fovel said.

Responding officers found a girl suffering from fatal injuries, and a second victim who was taken to a hospital and expected to survive.

Fovel said no arrests in the shooting had been made as of Sunday night.
