CBSE's exam plan to ease pressure on class 5, 8 students

The CBSE introduced SAFAL, a new exam cycle for Classes 5 and 8 focusing on core concepts over rote learning. It aims to reduce exam pressure. SAFAL, inspired by the NEP 2020, aims to identify learning gaps through a competency-based assessment. The test cycle, expanding rapidly, scales up to assess students in all CBSE schools by 2025, without individual reports or public scores.
