Sky News host announces big shake-up to flagship show as another is pulled off air
A SKY News host has announced a big shake-up to the channel’s flagship show – as another is pulled off air.
The 24-hour news station’s sports presenter Jacquie Beltrao took to social media to share the update with fans.
She revealed bosses are moving their Breakfast programme a new studio from next week.
Jacquie, 59, explained how the show will broadcast from Sky News’ main hub in West London in their ‘glass box’ studio.
She announced the news alongside a snap from their current Westminster studio with Anna Jones and Rob Powell.
The journalist penned: “Last day for us in this studio at weekends – back to the glass box next – happy Sunday from the @SkyNews Weekend Breakfast team.”
Jacquie – who has been open about her battle with cancer in recent years – recently shared a health update with fans.
She confirmed there’s no traces of the disease in her body as she reflected on the initial diagnosis.
Meanwhile, Sky News announced that their The UK Tonight programme has been taken off air.
The show, usually presented by Sarah-Jane Mee, will take a summer break until September.
Sarah-Jane, 46, told viewers: “The UK Tonight is off air for the summer…
“Thank you for your company and we’ll see you in September.”
