Over 7,500 pilgrims visit Amarnath cave shrine on July 27, total crosses 4.5 lakh

Over 4.5 lakh pilgrims visited the Amarnath cave shrine in South Kashmir, with more than 7,500 yatris seeing the ice lingam, officials reported. Two deaths occurred during the annual yatra, both due to cardiac arrest along the Baltal route. The pilgrimage, which started on June 28, will end on August 19, with a total of 4,51,881 pilgrims having visited the shrine so far this year.
