SC to hear on Jul 29 ED plea challenging bail to Hemant Soren in money laundering case

The Supreme Court scheduled a hearing on July 29 for the Enforcement Directorate's plea against Jharkhand High Court's decision to grant bail to Chief Minister Hemant Soren in a money laundering case. Soren had resigned before being arrested in January, and was reappointed after getting bail. The ED accused him of illegally acquiring land and manipulating records.
