Pakistan jittery as suspense continues on energy sector loan from China

Two Pakistani ministers, Muhammad Aurangzeb (Finance) and Sardar Awais Ahmad Khan Laghari (Energy), are in Beijing to discuss rescheduling Pakistan's debt related to the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC). The debt, primarily from energy projects, has surged to Rs 401 billion, a 44% increase from the previous year.
