EDINBURG, N.Y. (NEWS10) -- A Saratoga County man has been sentenced to six years and four months in prison for dealing meth and conspiring to make, possess and sell unregistered firearms. Christopher Montano, 40, of Edinburg, pleaded guilty back in 2021.

As part of his guilty plea, Montano admitted to conspiring with Michael Castelluccio between August and October of 2019 to build and sell untraceable "ghost guns" without serial numbers using parts ordered online. He also confessed to selling over one and a half ounces of meth.

Montano was additionally ordered to serve a five-year term of post-release supervision. Castelluccio was previously sentenced to two years and six months in prison.
