‘Fakest thing ever!’ fume Love Island fans as they accuse producers of ‘stepping in’ for big Joey Essex moment

LOVE Island fans weren’t buying it as Joey Essex presented Mimii with flowers after days of rows.

Fans shared a wild theory that producers planted the idea in Joey’s head to apologise with a very sweet gesture.

Joey told her: “I just want you to know that I am sorry and I don’t want our friendship to ever be sour. I want to be friends.”

Watching at home, one furious fan tweeted: “Joey Essex DID NOT buy those flowers lol I know a producer prompted apology when I see one…”

“Joey apologising to Mimii with the producer’s bought flowers,” another waded in.

A third ranted: “So Joey could get Mimii flowers? I’m not falling for this.”

It comes after Joey sparked a flurry of complainst to Ofcom along with Sean Stone over their constant digging at Mimii and Josh.
