'Bad move': Even Fox News' Tomi Lahren is second-guessing GOP attacks on Kamala Harris

Fox News' Tomi Lahren, who has never been shy about lobbing vicious personal attacks against Democratic politicians, thinks that Republicans would be making a mistake to go after Vice President Kamala Harris on such grounds.

While discussing Harris' ascent to the top of the Democratic ticket, Lahren said that all of the newfound hype surrounding her candidacy is "cheesy," but she warned conservatives that the candidate had given Democrats a needed jolt of energy that could make the election harder for former President Donald Trump to win.

She further warned against getting overly personal with attacks on the vice president.

"Don't get too comfortable on the Trump side," she said. "The attacks on her personally, on whatever her past personally may have been, or calling her a childless lady, none of those are going to work and they're going to make women second-guess their support for what they may have felt for Donald Trump. Bad move."

"Ooooh there are a lot of strong points in that for Republicans," replied Fox News host Harris Faulkner.

In recent days, House Republican leadership has urged its members to tone down some of its attacks on Harris, including claims that she's a "DEI hire" who was only chosen as vice president because of her racial background, and attacks on her for being a "childless cat woman."
