Battery costs for EVs and energy storage set to come down: INOXGFL ED Devansh Jain

INOXGFL Group's executive director Devansh Jain has said that import duty waivers on critical minerals like lithium will lower battery costs for electric vehicles and energy storage. Battery chemicals make up 35% of EV batteries' value. The initiative, along with the PLI scheme, will encourage further investments in EV battery manufacturing in India.
