Health Ministry responds to $34.9 million ambulance spare parts scandal
The Ministry of Health has issued a statement responding to allegations of corruption surrounding a $34. 9 million contract for ambulance spare parts. Member of Parliament for North Tongu, Samuel Okudzeto Ablakwa, had accused the government of approving an inflated contract with Service Ghana Auto Group Limited that amounted to over $113,000 per ambulance for spare parts alone.
