The Future of Home Cooking: Discover Miele’s VitroLine Collection

0

You may be reading this in 2024, but Miele is a few millennia ahead — in the kitchen appliance game, at least. With the launch of its latest line, Generation 7000 (which itself sounds a little spaceship-y), the German manufacturer has revolutionized oven technology and fast-forwarded home cooking far into the future.

The best of Generation 7000 is a trio of ovens called VitroLine, which look no better than when presented in the “Black Obsidian” colourway (“Graphite Grey” and “Brilliant White” are also available). Each of these piping hot models is cleanly, elegantly designed — with minimalist all-glass fronts that recall the modern simplicity of smartphones.

They’re almost as intelligent as smartphones, too. The Speed Oven features a food probe and countdown indicator to ensure meals are prepared to perfection. The Convection Oven is fitted with a small camera inside its oven compartment, which allows you to keep a keen eye on the progress of your roast or bake without opening the oven door. It’s also got a nifty “rapid cool-down” feature which, although seemingly counterintuitive for an oven, allows you to avoid overcooking.

The Combi-Steam Oven innovatively uses both wet and dry heat to cook your food, distributing steam evenly and rapidly throughout its oven compartment. And the fourth VitroLine appliance, a Warming Drawer, has a touch panel, a timer, and the ability to slow roast foods at ultra-low heats for more flavourful results.

If that weren’t enough, each of these new, visionary models is also cleverly network-connected, and can also be controlled using the Miele Smart Home app. And this is the key to VitroLine’s appeal — despite the cutting-edge technology and extraordinarily smart systems, the user experience comes first, and is as polished as those slick glass fronts.
