Manhattan woman arrested in connection to shooting

MANHATTAN (KSNT) - A woman was arrested on a Riley County District Court warrant in connection to an April shooting.

On Thursday, July 25 an 18-year-old Manhattan woman was arrested in connection to an aggravated robbery and aggravated assault that happened in April.

The Riley County Police (RCPD) received a 911 call at 12:20 a.m. on April 23 for a shooting in the 1400 block of Watson Plaza. Police arriving at the scene found a 20-year-old woman with a gunshot wound to her abdomen.

The suspect was confined as of 9:40 a.m. on Thursday, according to the RCPD.
