The bag, which costs £24.99, has been dubbed “the most perfect summer bag and STAUD dupe,” is currently being snapped up by fashion fans.

The TK Maxx item is a small, pink striped beaded bag which has a number of different little cherries engraved into the design.

The compared is a similar shape and design to those designed and sold by STAUD for around £335.

Since TK Maxx has stocked the item, it has gone viral on TikTok with many people filming themselves finding the bag in their local store.

TikTok account @thirteenthirtyonee, captioned: “Look what we picked up @TKMaxx this morning!!

“Is this not the most perfect summer bag and Staud dupe?”

Fashion fans rushed to the comments section, praising the find.

One wrote: “Too cute.”

Other shoppers have also taken to TikTok to share how “obsessed” they are with their cherry bag finds.

Maya Dannie, who regularly shares fashion updates on her TikTok page, revealed how she was “obsessed with the viral cherry bag.”

Some other fashion fans commented on videos revealing how they had been on the hunt for it and are “looking everywhere.”

A shopping expert previously revealed four tricks TK Maxx uses to make you spend more and how to avoid them.

Shopping expert Tom Church, who is the co-founder of latestdeals.co.uk, revealed that TK Maxx uses a number of tricks aimed at getting you to part with your hard-earned dough.

Shoes at the back of the store

Tom claims that the retailer knows they are one of the most favoured stores when it comes to shopping for shoes.

This is why they place them at the back of the stores, as they hope you will see some other products along the way.

Tom said: “It’s similar to how supermarkets put eggs and bread at the back of stores.”

Aisles near the tills

TK Maxx is known for having products placed as you queue up to pay for your shopping.

Tom claims that this is to try and entice you into spending more and potentially picking up more products that you didn’t go in there for.

Tom said: “On the way to the till, you walk through a tiny zig-zag aisle packed full of cheap items.

“These tend to be less than £5, and often consumables like sweets, chocolates, and coffee. Things to tempt you.

“There’ll also be small beauty bits and bobs, soda, hand gels. ‘Oo, I’ll get that’ is exactly what they’re gunning for.”

How Does TK Maxx Flog Designer for Cheap?

  • TK Maxx follows an off-price business model to get designer products for cheap
  • It buys merchandise from various brands and designers at a discount and then sells it to customers at lower prices than traditional retail stores
  • The selection at its outlets often includes overstocked items, last season’s styles and goods from cancelled orders.
  • The Gold Label is a premium collection of designer and luxury products offered by TK Maxx.
  • If you love designer clothes, this is the tag you want to look out for on pieces.

Label tricks

TK Maxx also has ‘secret’ symbols on their labels and they will often put yellow and red stickers on products when reducing items further.

Each label also has a numeric code on it.

If there’s a “1” it means the clothing was made specifically for the retailer.

These items can also be designer, so while you think you are getting a bargain, the product has been made for TK Maxx rather than other stores.

Tom said: “These are not usually good buys and is a trick by TK Maxx to make you spend more money.”
