Greggs is adding a new bake to menus TODAY and curry lovers will be delighted

GREGGS fans are buzzing over a brand new menu item being rolled out TODAY – and it’s a hit with curry lovers.

The bakery chain giant is launching their mouthwatering Katsu Chicken Bake from Thursday, July 25 at branches nationwide.

Inspired by the popular Japanese dish, the latest bake edition offers a little bit of a kick.

Customers can expect to bite into delicious chicken breast covered with katsu curry style sauce, while enjoying a crunchy spiced breadcrumb coating on the famously fluffy pastry.

Fans can also order the new £2.00 dish via Just Eat and Uber Eats if they can’t resist one at home.

Meanwhile, those who scan the Greggs App will be rewarded with double stamps on all purchased after 5pm.

This deal lasts until Saturday, August 10.

And, the Katsu Chicken Bake is not the only new item catching customers’ attention.

A four slice pizza sharing box is now also being added to the menu with a range of flavours for just £6.50.

They feature five different toppings including classic Margherita, Pepperoni, Spicy Mexican Chicken for a bit of a kick and Pepperoni Hot Shot if you fancy the heat.

Meanwhile, those who can’t decide on just one, or plan to share their meal, can elect the half and half option.

It comes as six slice pizza boxes already exist, with the same flavours available.

Hungry shoppers will take home a generous serving with each topping costing £9.55 – other than Margherita which is marked up at £8.65.

Some fans have hailed it is a brilliant Dominos dupe.

Greggs customers were also rushing to their nearest shop to get a taste of a new summer menu item that’s a twist on a British classic.

The popular breakfast chain is adding six items to the menu including a Cherry Bakewell Muffin.

Greggs revealed their new tasty menu just in time for summer parties.

Six iced drinks are also part of the summer menu at the budget grocery store, and customers may select from a wide range of flavours.

The store is selling two vegan alternatives this summer, one of which is the new Vegan Mexican Chicken-Free Bake.

The new Cherry Bakewell Muffin costs the same as their usual Triple Chocolate Muffin, at just £1.75.

Using the Greggs app will allow you to gain rewards, even when the Happier Hours offer ends.

When you scan your app at the till you’ll gain stamps for every purchase made.

When you’ve collected nine stamps you will be able to redeem a free item from the menu.

The app also allows you to place an order to collect in store, so you can dodge the queue.

You’ll also get a free hot drink for signing up and a free sweet treat on your birthday.
