Gisele Bündchen Posts a Gorgeous 3-Generation Photo Honoring Her Late Mom
Gisele Bündchen was feeling understandably nostalgic yesterday, less than six months after the passing of her mother, Vânia Nonnenmacher. And so the model shared on an Instagram Story a special photo — now tinged with a bit of sadness — of herself, her mom, and her 11-year-old daughter Vivian. In the picture of three generations of beautiful women, Bündchen and Vivian kiss Nonnenmacher on each cheek. Meanwhile, the late matriarch gives a soft smile to the camera.
“Te amo eternamente mãezinha ! ❤️ Nós sentimos muito tua falta,” the grieving Brazilian mom wrote in Portuguese over the photo, which translates to, “I love you eternally mommy! We miss you very much.” People has a screenshot HERE.
Along with Vivian, Bündchen shares son Benny, 14 and stepson Jack, 16 with ex-husband Tom Brady.
When Nonnenmacher sadly passed at the end of January at age 75 after battling cancer, Bündchen shared an emotional Instagram post that included a similar photo of her mom getting kissed on each cheek. This time, it was a young Vivian and a young Benny doing the smooching.
“Beloved mom, It hurts to know that I won’t be able to hug you anymore, but I know that you will always be watching over us,” Bündchen wrote in both Portuguese and English at the time. “… I am so grateful to be your daughter and to have learned from you.”
And Bündchen wasn’t the only one who had mom on the brain this week. Just a day earlier, Brady shared a sweet picture on his Instagram Story of his mom, Galynn Brady, with Vivian.
“My forever Mom and my forever baby girllllllieee ❤️❤️❤️,” the twice-retired quarterback wrote on the adorable throwback. In the picture, Galynn carries a young Vivi, who looks so happy and proud to be holding little flowers that she waves for the camera. Meanwhile, Galynn (of course) looks at her granddaughter adoringly.
It’s always been clear that Brady is head over heels for his “forever baby girllllllieee.” Last year, Vivian famously hijacked her dad’s Instagram to share footage of one of their newly adopted cats. A couple of weeks prior, Brady had announced that they had welcomed new fur babies into the family — whether he liked it or not. “Vivi wins again,” he wrote over footage of the Siamese mix kittens playing.
And we’re willing to bet a lot of money that Vivi won again and again (and probably again) with both her grandmas too.
