ITR filing: CBDT engaging closely with service providers for proper functioning of portal

CBDT has collaborated closely with Infosys, IBM, and Hitachi to resolve technical issues in the income tax filing portal. The last date for filing returns was July 31. CBDT Chairman Ravi Agrawal affirmed improved portal function. Over 4 crore returns were filed, including 22 lakh in one day.
