France draw with USA in Rugby Sevens as first games of Paris 2024 get underway

France could only manage a disappointing draw against the USA in Rugby Sevens as the sporting programme of the Paris 2024 Olympics got underway on Wednesday ahead of the opening ceremony on Friday.
