Tarek & Heather Rae El Moussa Reveal How They Are Supporting Christina Hall Amid Her Divorce
Christina Hall’s divorce from Josh Hall created a ripple effect in the HGTV world, and Tarek El Moussa and Heather Rae El Moussa have her back. Their 2025 show, The Flip Off, was supposed to feature all four of them, but now, it’s down to three. Still, Tarek and Heather aren’t worried about the show, they are focusing on Christina’s well-being.
Heather told E! News that the format for their home renovation show would change slightly with an “us against her” format (Tarek and Heather against Christina), “but we support her.” Tarek, who was married to the Christina on the Coast star from 2009 to 2018, knows that his ex-wife will “get through this” difficult time in her life. “Life’s tough, s–t happens,” he added. “We got one shot at life and we gotta do what’s best for us, so whatever she needs, we’re here to help.”
That also means supporting the two children Tarek and Christina share from their marriage, Taylor, 13, and Brayden, 8. After a well-publicized public spat at one of the kids’ soccer games in 2022 between Christina, Josh, Tarek, and Heather, it seems like they’ve worked hard to heal their relationship and co-parent amicably. “A personal matter was discussed and has since been resolved. We are focused on co-parenting as a team moving forward,” a rep for Christina told Us Weekly.
Heather is keeping the mood lighthearted amid the split, and she promises fans that she and Christina will likely “gang up” on Tarek — and he agrees. “At some point, it’ll be the girls against me [on The Flip Off],” he joked. He isn’t sure how HGTV will address Christina and Josh’s breakup because they had reportedly started filming some of their scenes in early July ahead of the divorce filing.
Christina and Josh did not have a prenuptial agreement and it appears there might be a financial fight ahead in the divorce. “Christina works very hard and is successful. She felt like Josh was not contributing enough to the household,” a source told Us Weekly. She’s not requesting spousal support, but he is. Josh is also seeking a division of property acquired during their almost three-year marriage, including a $12.6 million Newport Beach residence and the rights to their Discovery and HGTV shows they worked on together.
