On and Off Heavy Rains Today

More showers and storms today with a threat for heavier rains at times. Rain chances are expected to stay at 80% as activity remains on and off throughout the day. The flash flooding risk for our area remains low and localized. There is a greater threat for flash flooding across southeast Texas today and the western parishes of Louisiana. Just like yesterday, temperatures will be below normal as they hover in the 70s to 80s.

This stormy finally shows signs of breaking up this weekend leading to hotter and quieter weather for next week.
