Delhi Traffic Police isues advisory regarding traffic diversions due to heavy rains

The Delhi Traffic Police issued a traffic advisory on Wednesday due to severe waterlogging at Nigam Bodh Ghat, affecting Mahatma Gandhi Marg. The diversion point is set at Chandgi Ram Akhara, with traffic diversions in place. Waterlogging also impacted several areas in Delhi-NCR, including Zakhira underpass, NH-24 highway, Moti Bagh, Tughlaq Road, Akshardham flyover, and RK Puram. Delhi recorded 108 mm of rain until 8:30 a.m. on Wednesday, following a significant weather change on Monday. The city had previously experienced its highest rainfall in 88 years in June.
