Love Island fans demand huge shake-up as they slam ‘lame’ part of series
LOVE Island fans are demanding a huge shake-up to the show after being disappointed by last night’s special episode.
The Islanders battled it out in this year’s talent show with mixed results.
Few villa stars impressed during the variety show, with Mimii’s vocal performance probably the pick of the bunch.
Others, such as Joey Essex‘s freestyle rap and Matilda’s foot puppet show, left viewers scratching their heads and stunned by what they were watching.
The talent show has become a staple of the franchise, but viewers are begging bosses to drop it in the future.
One person wrote on X: “The producers shouldn’t try this rubbish again because what is this talent show?”
Another said: “Since this actual iconic performance I feel every year the producers make someone play an instrument shit , but none of them hit the same.”
A third shared: “Random Thought: Every year the producers give an islander a musical instrument and makes them pretend that is their talent so it can be ‘funny’. You cannot trick me.”
While a fourth simply posted: “That talent show was rubbish.”
Others labelled it the “cringiest ever” as Sean shared his passion for sweets and Ayo played the flute for the first time.
Further acts included Grace‘s fitness class, Nicole‘s dance routine and Jessy’s stilt walking – which was one of the episode highlights.
It wasn’t all fun and games though as earlier in the episode Jess broke down in tears in a heartbreaking moment.
She was left devastated after her man Ayo shared his brother’s advice during the family day, which aired on Monday.
Ayo’s sibling told him he believed he was better suited to his ex, Mimii, who has since moved on with Josh.
“I heard that my brother and my sister really do like you,” Ayo told her her, while sat at the firepit.
“Of course they had their opinions,” he continued. “One of my brother’s opinions was, to let you know as well, was that he felt like me and Mimii are better suited.”
Jess’s face fell as she took in the shocking blow.
“I just wanted you to be in the clear about it, but I’d rather you just talk to me about how you feel rather than bottle it up, ” Ayo urged.
When Jess said nothing, he went on: ” I can tell right now how you feel.”
“If you can tell, then I don’t need to say it, do I?” Jess responded, before exhaling loudly and running her hands through her hair.
