‘America’s Got Talent’ season 19: Who was your favorite act from ‘AGT’ Auditions 8? [POLL]

“America’s Got Talent” continued its 19th season on July 23, 2024 with a two-hour episode of first-round auditions. (Read our minute-by-minute recap.) Among the acts that performed for judges Simon CowellHowie MandelHeidi Klum and Sofia Vergara this week were aerialists, singers, dance crew and comedians. These 13 acts had their fate in the competition decided by “yes” or “no” votes from the judges.

The July 23 episode included performances from pogo stick crew Xpogo, acrobatic group Prilepin Quartet, comedic troupe Black Peppers, aerialists Haley Viloria and Kelsey Jane, keys player and singer Journeyy, balancing act Alejandro Licea Pellon, comedic magician Jonathan Burns, dance crew Airfootworks, stand up comic Corkey Miller, singers Sophie Lennon and Brooke Bailey, and world record hopeful Nick Manning.

Based on your votes past weeks, the favorite act from “Auditions 1” was dance group Los Osos High School and the acts that received the Golden Buzzer were comedian Learnmore Jonasi (Terry) and 55-year-old singer Richard Goodall (Heidi). And after “Auditions 2,” the favorite was danger act Bao Cuong while Simon delivered the Golden Buzzer moment to both singer Liv Warfield and drone artists Sky Elements. Then, after “Auditions 3,” the fan favorite act was Jacob Hoffman and Sofia gave one of her Golden Buzzers to dance group Legion.

Following “Auditions 4,” singer songwriter Stephanie Rainey was a fan favorite while Howie’s person favorite was dance group Brent Street. The act that was the favorite after “Auditions 5” was Goat vs Fish, but Heidi preferred singer Pranysqa Mishra for her Golden Buzzer choice. It was after “Auditions 6” that you declared Alex Sampson the fan favorite of the episode and Howie gave a Golden Buzzer to Reid Wilson. Sofia gave her final Golden Buzzer to Japanese comedy duo Schumacher during “Auditions 7.”

“America’s Got Talent” will continue to air throughout the summer on NBC and the finale of Season 19 will likely air in mid-September, when the next winner will be crowned.
