How Bill Belichick Broke (Into) Character With This Patriots Activity
Bill Belichick rarely showed signs of personality during his historic tenure with the New England Patriots.
Obviously, there are instances where that changes behind closed doors. Apparently, that’s exactly what happened in his final years in New England after legendary quarterback Tom Brady departed from the Patriots.
In a recent appearance also former Patriot Julian Edelman’s “Games With Names” podcast, former New England director of football operations Berj Najarian shared that Belichick got involved in team bonding activities.
His best performance? Reenacting a Broadway musical.
“Bill was in it,” Najarian shared. “We broke the team up and the coaches and everybody had a role in it. They reenacted a Broadway musical and Bill actually sang.”
While Belichick surely wasn’t turning in a Tony Award-winning performance inside the walls of Gillette Stadium, this surely is a side of the legendary head coach that never surfaced to the public eye during his Patriots tenure.
