Prince William's Salary Revealed for First Full Year as Duke of Cornwall

A new report released by the Duchy of Cornwall has revealed Prince William‘s salary for his first full year as the Duke of Cornwall.

The 42-year-old Prince of Wales inherited the Cornwall title and estate from his father King Charles when he ascended the throne in 2022.

The 2023-2024 financial year was William‘s first full year in the new role and the estate’s Integrated Annual Report revealed that it distributed a surplus of £23.6 million ($30.4 million) during that time period.

William doesn’t receive a traditional income, but the estate “covers the official, charitable and private expenses” of him and his family, according to People. The Duchy of Cornwall estate is worth more than $1 billion and was first established in 1337 by King Edward III. The estate provides funds and living expenses for the heir to the throne.
