Union Budget 2024: Sitharaman's Budget cuts subsidy bill by 7.8% to Rs 3.81 lakh crore

Food subsidy is set at Rs 2,05,250 crore, fertiliser subsidy at Rs 1,64,000 crore, and petroleum subsidy, mainly for LPG, at Rs 11,925 crore.
