Mariners Game #102 Preview: 7/22/24, LAA @ SEA
Bryce takes the bump in tonight’s episode of Red Vs. Blue
After salvaging a win out of the Astros series (and yet again avoiding the sweep) the Mariners now host Anaheim for a three game set. The vibes around the park are certainly strange today, coming off the news that Ty France was placed on waivers following last night’s game. In addition to that, Jason Vosler has been called up from Tacoma and Ryan Bliss has been sent down. That clubhouse turnover has put a slight damper on the Mariners this afternoon, but Ty France at least seems to be making the most of it.

Vosler isn’t in the lineup today with a lefty on the mound; Scott mentioned pregame that they hope to use him mostly against right handed pitching. Instead, we’ll be getting D-Mo at first. We’re also getting a look at Robles in center field, with Julio still day-to-day after getting banged up yesterday. Scott said that the early signs are good for Julio, and that everyone on the team is glad they avoided something major. The team is still waiting for results on an MRI performed this afternoon.
