Union Budget 2024: Centre to set up 100 branches of India Post Payments Bank in North East

The government plans to establish 100 India Post Payments Bank branches in Northeastern states, according to the 2024-25 Union Budget tabled by Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman Tuesday. Currently, IPPB manages millions of accounts and operates through thousands of branches across the country.
