India Budget 2024: Finance Minister Sitharaman extends a helping hand to MSMEs

Budget 2024: Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman announced a new credit guarantee scheme aimed at facilitating term loans for Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) on Tuesday, while presenting the full budget for 2024-25. The scheme will help manage credit risks for these enterprises through a self-financing guarantee fund providing coverage of up to Rs 100 crore per applicant.
