Karnataka Deputy CM DK Shivakumar moots Cauvery ‘aarti’ on lines of Ganga ‘aarti’ in Varanasi

Karnataka plans a Cauvery aarti inspired by Ganga’s. Deputy CM DK Shivakumar announced it after Krishnarajasagar dam reached full capacity. A 20-member committee will finalize the location within a month. Legislators will visit Varanasi for insights. The aarti aims to boost tourism and spiritual importance. Brindavan Gardens renovations via public-private partnership will create 8,000 jobs.
