Former Philadelphia officer sentenced 8 to 20 years in death of 12-year-old

Ex-Philadelphia police officer Edsaul Mendoza was sentenced to eight to 20 years in prison for third-degree murder of 12-year-old Thomas “TJ” Siderio. The shooting happened in March 2022 after Siderio was stopped for questioning in relation to the officers illegal gun possession investigation.
