Halfmoon minor charged with burglary, grand larceny

HALFMOON, N.Y. (NEWS10) -- The Saratoga County Sheriff's Office reported the arrest of a Halfmoon teen in connection to a theft investigation. The minor, whose name was not released due to their age, is facing multiple charges.

The teen is accused of unlawfully entering a home on Devonshire Way in Halfmoon and allegedly stealing over $3,000 of property around 2:57 a.m. on July 14. The minor was identified as a suspect during the ensuing investigation and was taken into custody on July 20.

The youth was charged with second-degree burglary and third-degree grand larceny, both of which are felonies. He was then released on an appearance ticket, with further legal proceedings scheduled.
