Economic Survey: CPI base year to be moved to 2024 from 2012

The Ministry of Statistics and Programme Implementation (MoSPI) is updating the base year of the Consumer Price Index (CPI) from 2012 to 2024 to improve economic data accuracy. This will help measure changes in economic variables and compare indicators over time.
